Process

I generally work in mixed media. To start I disrupt the ‘blank canvas’ by making expressive marks, adding texture and colour. I use fast drying materials initially as I often work outdoors. I layer ink, watercolour and coloured pencil on paper, often making marks with found objects. Work is then usually finished, in the studio, with acrylic and oil pastel.
