Spain – Camino de Santiago

For several months I followed the line of two ancient pilgrim routes in Europe. From Geneve, across France, to Saint Jean Pied du Port. Then along the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain. I travelled and worked in a campervan for approximately 6 months. I hiked sections of these routes and regularly painted outdoors.

The paintings and collage pieces in this series are mixed-media on paper, including ink, acrylic, coloured pencil and oil pastel.
